Documents to Bring to Your
1st Session - Below
is a list of documents
you want to bring to your first session.
1. Most recent income tax returns, including W2's. If you filed jointly bring in the joint return. If you filed individually, bring in both individual returns. If you own a business, bring the business tax returns.
2. Recent pay stubs, one for each party that is employed.
3. Recent statements relating to pensions, 401K's, IRA's, retirement plans, employee plans such as stock options, RSU's, ESOP's or any other similar plans that were acquired or partially acquired during the marriage
4. Recent brokerage or other non retirement account statements.
5. Recent account statements in your children's names and/or accounts that you are holding for your children and/or that is held in trust for any of your children.
6. Recent bank account statements, if the balance is more than $2,000.00
7. List of credit cards or other consumer card debt. (You do not have to bring in the actual statements just the balance owed to the credit card companies).
8. A check or cash for the mediation session payment , since we do not take credit cards.
If you are unable to bring all of the above at the first session that is fine. We will work with what you have. Also, your spouse is welcome to call
